We’re getting into the year now and no time like the present to think about how you can improve your risks on farm and work smarter around what could be potentially dangerous. With the industry expected to three times its output at the farm gate, with that it’ll bring along with it risks of working harder on farm.
For this weeks episode Jack spoke with Shay Clifford from Clare Australia where he started Regional Workplace Safety to make an impact on farms to improve and limit risks to farmers and their employees.

She’ll be right
Shay’s father each time he saw a risk
Shay said through out the episode that his father just got on with the job and worried about the consequences after “if” there were any.
As a farming podcast we want to ingrain into farmers that risks need to be calculated so that they can work safer and “just so you can make it home at the end of the day”
Make it a safe year in 2022 for your farm or agribusiness to ensure you’re there at the end of the day. I hope you can get something out of this episode to implement or to think about how you can change your thinking around being more productive and safe at the same time.
Keep on farming!
